What a GREAT victory today by the feisty St. Mary's Gaels in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Providence's "Dunkin Donuts Center!"

Center Omar Samhan, of Danville, led the way for the Gaels with 29 points! Mickey McConnell was lights out from the 3-point arc and finished with 23 points, shocking the University of Richmond Spiders (Samhan and I are in the photo above).

The Gaels will face the tough Villinova Wildcats at "The Dunk" on Saturday afternoon.
