I could not be prouder of my daughter, Alexandra Curtis, who delivered one of three student commencement addresses at Monte Vista High School's 2010 graduation in Danville, California on Friday June 11, 2010.

Many of you know of Alexandra's travels with me during campaign 2008. It was those journeys-- and other factors-- which have now led her to study broadcast journalism and political science at Syracuse University beginning in the fall of 2010.

Her graduation speech was entitled, "Excellence is a Habit!" Her parents, grandparents, brother, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends are so very proud of what this young lady has accomplished in her first 18 years.
