Wow! What a night with this Massachusetts U.S. Senate election. Tomorrow is the first anniversary of President Obama's swearing-in. It is also the first anniversary of my book release.

I will be on the "Buddy Cianci Show" on 630 WPRO-AM (or 99.7 FM) 11 a.m. to Noon, Eastern Time. He is the former, longtime Mayor of Providence. He is now our chief political analyst at WLNE-TV ABC6.

We will discuss my book, "Age of Obama: A Reporter's Journey with Clinton, McCain and Obama in the Making of the President 2008." You can buy the book from this website, just click on the blue book button on the right side of this screen and you'll be in the www.Amazon.com checkout line!

We will also talk about the Massachusetts race and all of campaign 2010. You can listen in "live" worldwide at:

Buddy Cianci and I share one thing in common. We are both graduates of Marquette University in Milwaukee, so this should be fun!

By the way, here is a link to Buddy and me, as we dissect tonight's Massachusetts race on ABC6: http://www.abc6.com/news/82087002.html

Enjoy!

Buddy I know you were talking about how few people have been using this New MBTA service to and from the airport. But I just wanted to say that that new transportation center is going to end up being not what the state intended it could be. They felt it would attract more people from Ma to fly out of Green as opposed to going into Boston. Thats all well and good. But the fact is Green just does not have a lot to offer most of the people who do fly out of Boston as you know. A big part of the problem is the fact we don't have a lot of direct flights out of Green going west. In the last few years I have seen several of the airlines cut service out of Green and also the size of the aircraft they fly in and out of Green. We need to get that longer runway. Its been talked about for several years and now is the time we need to get that project Rolling. The State put a lot of money into building that center and its going to be all for nothing. The State did a good job. But its only half of what was needed if airlines can't put enough fuel on their airplanes to offer people better service out of Green. I feel if we could get that project done a lot more people would take atvantage of what we have to offer here. So Mr Chafee needs to get going on this and soon. If not that new Transportation center will end up just one more vacant building in the State of Rhode Island.
