I had a great time on KGO Radio 810-AM with host Brian Copeland Wednesday night. Brian and I worked together many years ago at KTVU.

If you missed the KGO interview go to www.KGORadio.com, click on podcast, click on archives and then click on Wednesday, 10 to 11 p.m.

One of the most fascinating issues we discussed was whether Newt Gingrich will run for President in 2012. I think he will. Newt has been very high profile of late, very vocal on issues; and he's a great fundraiser and one of the best political tacticians I have ever seen. That said, he does have some personal baggage with affairs and messy divorces, etc. Still, the public has been largely forgiving of those issues over the years to members of both parties (unless some illegality was involved).

Right now I see the GOP field in the 2012 primary season as being Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin, in no particular order. Hey, its the world of politics, and anything can happen!
